Description

Feel free to experiment with the addition of herbs to this
basic vinaigrette to make it your own!

Ingredients

  • 1⁄4
    c
freshly squeezed lemon juice (1 large lemon)
  • 1⁄2
    c
    good olive oil
  • 1⁄2
    t
    kosher salt
  • 1⁄4
    t
    freshly ground black pepper
  •

    parmesan cheese

Instructions

Whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Alternatively, you can combine all ingredients in a screw-top jar and shake away.

Serve the vinaigrette on the side in a carafe or small pitcher.

We like to put a chunk of Parmesan cheese on a plate with a vegetable peeler or cheese grater for guests to help themselves.

Vinaigrette will keep for approximately one week when refrigerated.
