Opening Day 2010

Emporia Farmers Market season opener is Saturday May 1, 8 a.m..  We expect to have asparagus, carrots, greens, green onions, lettuce, Morel Mushrooms(!), radishes, rhubarb, spinach, baked goods, jams/jellies, eggs, meats, honey and handcrafted items.  The Learning Connection is holding a Hot Breakfast Burrito (ALL local ingredients!) fundraiser.  Vegetarian burritos will be $3, Bacon or Sausage burritos will be $3.50.  Anyone wishing to be a vendor should register in advance by calling Tracey at 343-6555 or emailing tlcfh [at] yahoo [dot] com">tlcfh [at] yahoo [dot] com.
