The newly revised Rules, Regulations and Resources for Kansas Farmers' Markets is now available.

This publication, developed by the Kansas Rural Center, is the go to guide for vendors, managers and those who work with direct marketers. The Rules and Regs document compiles information from Kansas Department of Revenue and numerous divisions of Kansas Department of Agriculture all in one handy spot.

Last fall, the Kansas Department of Agriculture, Division of Food Safety and Lodging assumed responsibility for licensing and inspecting food establishishments from the Kansas Department of Health and the Environment.
